9 songs written, 8 songs recorded for our new, currently untitled cd. As noted previously we're looking to get about 10 or 11 tracks on. Currently written a set of lyrics for two songs called Battery and 1810 Onwards and they are sounding pretty cool. Battery is a short, sharp pop/rock kinda song with bags of sing along potential whilst 1810 Onwards has a trippy Tool/Led Zep kind of a feel to it.
Steve is currently working on a song with a catchy riff that I feel reminds me a bit of Snow by the Chili's or Thrown Down by Fleetwood Mac and we're working on a couple of other tracks that may be familiar to a few people. We've taken a strong riff and verse section from an old song and are breathing new life into and we're reworking a song that I thought had bags of pop/rock potential but felt we didn't do it justice.
So lots of work being done and still a bit to do but we're working quickly and are on track to get this out to you by the end of the year. Yes a very fast turn around!
